Nominate

Please submit nomination form and all supporting material no later than May 1 of each year. Carefully read all information and instructions included on the Nomination Form and Selection Considerations. Incomplete nominations will not be considered.

Nominations may be submitted in any of the following ways: 

  1. Submitting the nomination form below
  2. By emailing nomination@gcisdwalkofhonor.com
  3. In person by dropping off at the GCISD Administration Building

Selection Considerations

    The following must be submitted with the nomination form:

    1. A letter of recommendation from the person making the nomination should thoroughly describe and explain why the nominee deserves this distinction and honor. The letter, without limitation, should include remarks about the nominee’s character, validation for his/her support of GCISD, a listing of accomplishments, and other testimonial that supports the value of the nominee.

    2. Newspaper clippings, magazine articles or other printed material to substantiate the accomplishments and contributions of the nominee should be included. This material will not be returned but copies of originals will suffice. Photographs may also be submitted but will not be returned.

    3. The GCISD Walk of Honor Nominee Summary Sheet is recommended for help in organizing and summarizing information.
